Many people have requested an ASMR slime DIY so I hope you’ll enjoy this!! I’ve been following lots of DIY slime Instagram accounts and began noticing many “new” slime styles pop up. These include using foam balls, mixing clear DIY slime with white DIY slime, pearly effects or adding polymer clay cane slices.

Of course you CAN substitute borax solution for the contact lens liquid. If you do that, you can skip the baking soda as well. (Baking soda is used to create alkaline pH conditions in the glue. This “activates” the sodium borate inside eye drops or contact lens solution which causes the PVA to clump together, thus creating slime. So you’ve effectively “made” borax using baking soda and eye drops…which is why these two things need to be used together in DIY slime recipes)

The brands of clear glue that definitely work for DIY slime are Elmer’s Glue (USA), Povinal (Asia), Pelikan Pelifix (Germany, Austria), AMOS (Korea, USA) and Pritt Craft Glue (UK).
