♥ 5 Amazing DIY Slimes from Instagram! Part 2 ♥
I’ve been trying to improve the quality and quantity of my channels so you’ve probably noticed my videos becoming longer :D! These DIY slime ideas were originally supposed to be separate videos but I decided to combine them together. This does mean that my workload has gone up quite a lot so I really appreciate all the support from you guys! The first DIY slime here was a failed attempt at butter slime. I noticed that brand of glue make quite a big difference! The brand I used in the butter slime experiments scene was “grainier” so the final slime had a soft-serve ice cream texture (01:50 in the butter slime video). I used a different glue for the marshmallow slime shown here and it turned out smoother and glossier. So if you make or sell slimes, then definitely try experimenting with various brands and you might come up with cool results!
Glow in the dark slime was something I’ve also wanted to try out for so long and I was so excited at how it turned out!! I never realised that it was so easy to turn your phone into a blacklight and it works perfectly on neon ink. All of the glow in the dark DIYs I saw on Youtube require glow in the dark paint or a real UV blacklight (seriously, who has that home unless you’re a hotel inspector or a YouTuber who specifically makes videos about glow in the dark DIYs??)
I noticed lots of Steven Universe fans in my comments so Rose Quartz Fishbowl Slime is dedicated to y’all!! It’s a nice twist to normal fishbowl slime and the gemstones are really soothing and relaxing to touch. Gemstone chips aren’t actually expensive so you can even sell your DIY slimes containing real crystal pieces. The brands of clear glue that definitely work for DIY slime are Elmer’s Glue (USA), Povinal (Asia), Pelikan Pelifix (Germany, Austria), AMOS (Korea, USA) and Pritt Craft Glue (UK). These are just the countries I know of, so they may well be sold in other places too! Trying searching each brand online and you’ll be able to see if the deliver to you. I bought my eye drops form Pearle Optik and the contact lens solution and facewash from DM.
